London convicted activists who defaced a Van Gogh painting
Under the terms of the temporary release, they are prohibited from wearing glue, paint or any adhesive substance in public places and from visiting galleries and museums.
Two activists of the eco-movement Just Stop Oil, who poured tomato soup on the painting “Sunflowers” by Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh in London, were found guilty in court of unlawful damage.
