Russian tourists will probably have the opportunity to vacation in Malaysia for up to 90 days without a visa. This was reported to RIA Novosti by a diplomatic representative of Malaysia in Russia.

He said that the period of visa-free stay of Russians in Malaysia may be increased from 30 days to 60 or 90 days. It is noted that the exact timing has not yet been established.

To date, the Asian country is open to Russian travelers. However, it is worth noting that direct flights between Russia and Malaysia have not been restored at the moment - you can get there only with a connection.

Now the citizens of Russia in Malaysia have visa-free regime where tourists can enter and stay in the country for no more than 30 days. At the same time, at the time of crossing the border validity of the passport must be at least six months.
