Experts of the United Nations Organization reported that very soon India will surpass China in population size.
Such indicator will be reached already in the middle of 2023, says the report of the UN Foundation.
The document shows the calculation of population dynamics, according to which by July India will have 1.4286 billion citizens, and China - 1.4257 billion.
Eddie Wright said that there is no exact date of such an event and it is very difficult to determine.
Note that the Chinese population decreased by 850,000 people in 2022.
This is the first time such a figure has been reached since the mass starvation in the country between 1959 and 1961.
