Russian scientists have patented a flour that can reduce the level of "bad" cholesterol in the blood, but is also rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
The authors of the development were specialists of ROSBIOTECH. They propose to use a product from soybean meal as an alternative to conventional flour varieties. Such flour is obtained after soybean processing, RT reports.
As scientists noted, soy proteins are assimilated by 70%, but flour products made from such flour have no cholesterol, polyunsaturated fatty acids. In addition, they are characterized by low-calorie. But they contain potassium, magnesium, B vitamins.
It is known that specialists have already patented the developed technology.
