Russian tourists will be able to travel to Myanmar, Bahrain and Jordan without a visa in 2025. This was announced by the head of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects in the Ministry of Economic Development Nikita Kondratyev.

In a conversation with TASS, he thinned that there is already a relevant government decision at the highest level. A meeting of the leaders of the countries will be held soon.

“I think we will sign an agreement with Myanmar at the WEF,” Kondratyev noted.

Also working on the issue of abolition of visa regime with Jordan and Bahrain, with Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

Recall that from June 30, 2025 for citizens of states that are allowed visa-free entry into Russia, will be mandatory electronic registration through the mobile application “Gosuservices RuID”.

Also, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order approving a draft agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual abolition of visa requirements.
