Russians will be able to travel to the Philippines via direct flights.

For the first time in history, a direct flight will connect Russia and the Philippines.

Russians will be able to travel directly to two Asian countries. Flights to the Philippines will open in October, and to Phu Quoc Island in November.

This fall, Russians will be able to fly direct to two Asian countries. Azur Air will launch flights from Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, and Vladivostok to Phu Quoc Island on November 10. Russians will not need a visa to fly.

Boeing 767-300 aircraft will operate three flights per week on this route, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.

Furthermore, tourists will be able to fly to the Philippines at the end of October. IrAero will operate flights to Boracay from Irkutsk and Khabarovsk.

The route includes technical stops for refueling in China. A visa is not required for visiting the Philippines for stays of up to 30 days.

It was previously reported that a Philippine airline proposed launching flights to Novosibirsk.
