According to data from the Twill service, Kaliningrad hotels show pronounced seasonal price dynamics. Between summer and fall 2025, the median cost of accommodation fell by 540 rubles to 3,939 rubles. This 12% decrease reflects the traditional autumn decline in tourist traffic and hoteliers' adaptation to changes in demand.
Kaliningrad is strengthening its position in the field of cultural tourism, entering the top 10 cities in Russia that attract cinema lovers. The city's popularity is reinforced by the filming of such movies as “The Fate of a Man” and “The Shield and the Sword.” The average length of hotel reservations is 5 nights, which exceeds the figures for most Russian cities except Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yalta.
Despite some shortcomings in service, interest in the city remains consistently high. The preservation of tourist appeal in the off-season testifies to the effectiveness of the strategy of positioning Kaliningrad as a multifaceted destination combining cultural, historical, and film tourism.
Earlier, Lake Baikal was called the Russian Maldives because of its clear water and golden beaches. It has also become known that Russian tourists have begun to show interest in the Far East.
