Delegations from Chuvashia and Tatarstan agreed to jointly develop river transportation and tourism infrastructure as part of the federal "River Highways" project. Chuvashia plans to modernize berths in Cheboksary, Mariinsky Posad, and Kozlovka, as well as expand its fleet of high-speed vessels. The region will also increase component supplies to the Zelenodolsk A.M. Gorky Plant, deepening industrial partnerships between the two regions.

Popular destinations include ski resorts in the Caucasus, winter tours along the Golden Ring, and the thermal springs of Kamchatka and Lake Baikal. Furthermore, the reopening of Krasnodar Airport after reconstruction will reduce travel time for residents of the Southern Federal District from 7-13 hours to 3-4 hours. Aeroflot, Pobeda, and S7 Airlines will launch flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and international destinations such as Dubai, Antalya, and Yerevan. Experts predict an increase in tourist traffic thanks to improved logistics and expanded flight geography.
