Myanmar and Russia will start cooperation in tourism. On the eve of the Eastern Economic Forum, the parties signed a memorandum to this effect.
The document is aimed at improving the quality of tourist services, as well as increasing tourist traffic in both directions, according to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the document implies improving the safety of tourists and holding joint events for representatives of the tourism sector.
Earlier it was reported that the Myanmar government plans to increase tourist traffic from Russia. Therefore, since last week Myanmar Airlines launched a new route - Yangon - Mandalay-Novosibirsk. Now Myanmar is urging Russian airlines to launch return flights to the country as soon as possible.
