In 2024, the Altai Territory welcomed 72,000 foreign tourists, confirming the growing interest in the region outside Russia. The head of the region announced this on his official MAX messenger channel. He emphasized that the region's popularity continues to grow among visitors from different countries.
As an example, the head of the region published a photo of a Chinese delegation, which included representatives of the tourism industry and popular bloggers. They were given a tour of the health resorts of Belokurikha, the recreational opportunities at the Biryuzovaya Katun resort, and other popular locations.
Such events allow partners from abroad to assess the potential of the Altai region for themselves. The regional administration intends to continue actively promoting the region internationally, opening it up to new audiences.
