Since the beginning of 2022, Russians are 3.5 times more likely to consider immigration programs than in the same period last year. This is stated in a study of the agency Intermark Real Estate.
According to real estate agency, last year, real estate transactions for residence permits and investments in Europe took 55% of total sales. After Europe, Turkey and the Middle East (33%) took the lead. In third place were the countries of Southeast Asia with a share of 12%.
In 2022 countries of the Middle East and Turkey (56% of transactions) took the lead. The line moved countries of Southeast Asia (27%). Willing to buy property in Europe was less (only 17% of sales of the total).
It is noted that the Russians choose Turkey for citizenship, and Dubai - for relocation and residency. In Southeast Asia real estate is bought more often as an investment. Here leaders are Thailand and Bali.
