Working pensioners in the Russian Federation have the right to an annual additional unpaid leave of no more than two weeks, said Marina Solodovnikova, an expert of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
She noted that, according to the Labor Code, the employer has an obligation to provide working old-age pensioners with unpaid leave after his written application.
Solodovnikova added in a conversation with RIA Novosti that the annual paid vacation for working pensioners, as for all other Russians, is a minimum of 28 days.
The duration of such vacation may vary depending on the region and the nature of work, as well as social benefits.
Earlier it was reported that every third Russian at least once used the format of “quiet vacation”.
