Mercury can accumulate several types of fish - bigeye tuna, marlin, king mackerel. The least of this substance is found in flounder, salmon, river trout and sea bass, Prime reports.

Moreover, fish can accumulate cadmium and lead. This also applies to long-lived species.

Mikhaleva stressed that farmed fish is not dangerous to health, one thing it contains the least amount of vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids. In order for such a product to retain useful properties, it is necessary to observe the conditions of catching and storage.
