She recommended setting a screen time limit for yourself and initiating an "information detox" by playing board games instead.
For children under five, playing with play dough, drawing, and developing their imagination are all appropriate activities. Avoid "easy" pleasures and establish rituals that limit gadget use. For example, allow them to use them only on weekends.
Explain to children how gadgets can be useful in their studies and use parental controls. Put away gadgets two to three hours before bedtime and during meals.
It's important to teach children to find interesting activities. If teenagers are addicted to gadgets, consult a psychiatrist, the expert concluded.
