According to Forbes, citing unnamed sources, Durov pays about $1 million a year for his new place of residence. According to the interlocutors, the 1,400-square-meter villa has five bedrooms.

The publication notes that this is one of the most expensive villas for rent on Palm Jumeirah. Commenting on the businessman's move, his representative said that moving to Dubai in 2017, Durov lived in different areas of the city.

The messenger founder rented accommodation near Telegram's headquarters in the Dubai Media City free economic zone. Durov himself did not want to comment to Forbes on the information about his move.

Earlier, experts conducted a survey that showed that most young Russian women would like to marry IT specialists.
