According to investigators, the purpose of the movement's creation is the violent overthrow of the government and constitutional order in Russia. The FSB emphasized that Khodorkovsky and the other founders of the AKR are providing financial support to Ukrainian nationalist groups designated as terrorist in Russia and are recruiting people to participate in a plan to seize power in the Russian Federation by force.
