The press service of the united company Wildberries & Russ reported that fraudsters in Russia have begun using a new scheme of deception. Exploiting the images of media personalities, they spread messages in closed chat rooms created by them, promising easy and quick big money on the marketplace.
As RIA Novosti reports, they need to do this in order to eventually steal the personal data and money of sellers. They ask to transfer money or hand over access codes. The company urged not to believe messages that promise suspiciously favorable conditions.
“Additional earnings” offered on behalf of Wildberries on third-party resources is a risk of fraud. Do not enter personal data on links from unknown senders and check the information on official resources, the press service added.
Earlier it was reported that for six months the residents of Chukotka lost because of fraudsters 22 million rubles.
It became known that according to the new law services in Russia will be prohibited to automatically write off funds for subscription renewal.
