In her Telegram channel, she specified that the decisions to terminate citizenship were taken by Interior Ministry officials in relation to persons who had acquired citizenship earlier because of their unlawful actions.
Volk recalled that the grounds for deprivation of acquired Russian citizenship are committing or preparing to commit a crime, as well as actions that pose a threat to the national security of the country. In addition, citizenship can be terminated for evasion of the initial placement on the military register, provision of false documents or false information when obtaining citizenship.
Earlier in Stavropol deprived of citizenship a man who did not want to go to the army. And in Yaroslavl region a foreigner was deprived of citizenship for failure to appear at the military registration office.
