Russian ballet dancer Anastasia Volochkova said that tickets to the country's main theaters are often sold out, as people do not buy them because of the high price.
“There is official information that tickets are being leaked. People don't buy expensive tickets today, and the drain is coming from the Bolshoi Theater too. 60,000 rubles per ticket is more than the average Russian's salary. People are better off buying clothes or food to buy for their children, not theater tickets,” she said.
Volochkova told Radio 1 that everyone should think about what they can do for Russia's prosperity, not the other way around.
She noted that the Bolshoi Theater is run by a gray mass, due to which art is alienated from the real audience.
Artiska believes that the Bolshoi Theater does not need such upstarts as Volochkova and Tsiskaridze, as they will go and tell the truth, and it is easy to manage the gray mass. Also Volochkova believes that in the Bolshoi Theater, which has always been a hallmark of Russia, arranged lawlessness.
