On May 2, Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin passed away. He would have turned 62 on October 14.
On Yudashkin's birthday, singer Alla Pugacheva, who maintained a friendly relationship with the designer and even came to Moscow for his funeral, reached out to him.
The singer posted a photo of Yudashkin and admitted that she remembered him.
"You are always in my heart," Pugacheva wrote to her late friend, adding a heart emoji.
During his last trip to Israel, Yudashkin visited Alla Pugacheva, who had moved there.
The designer had long battled a severe form of cancer and underwent several complex surgeries. In 2016, he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his kidney. It soon metastasized throughout his body and reached his brain.
