The Federal Research Center for Integrated Arctic Studies named after Academician Laverov of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences concluded agreements with two Moroccan universities to study freshwater invertebrates.

The agreement came into force on July 29. First of all, Russian scientists are aimed at studying mollusks, their endosymbionts and parasites. This was reported to the TASS agency by the head of the Institute of Biogeography and Genetic Resources.

In addition, with African scientists will be discussed the issues of preserving freshwater reservoirs, the study of their biodiversity, as well as fisheries in the marine area of Morocco.

British scientist found out that the teeth of Komodo dragons are covered with a layer of iron.

Earlier it was reported that in Morocco scientists found perfectly preserved remains of trilobites, which are more than 500 million years old.
