An analysis of gender distribution revealed minimal differences: 37% of men and 35% of women support the idea of compulsory marriage. Women more often choose the compromise option of "not mandatory, but desirable"—37% versus 31% of men. Twenty-nine percent of men and 25% of women consider formal relationships completely optional.

Men's attitudes are influenced by marital status and the presence of children: married men and fathers are less likely to view marriage as optional. Education also plays a role: men with secondary vocational education are less likely to view marriage as mandatory than university graduates.

Among women, age is a key factor: 43% of women under 35 support the idea of compulsory marriage, while only 24% of women over 45 do, according to Gazeta.SPb.

At the same time, St. Petersburg wants to expand the simplified OGE (Basic State Exam) system to other regions.

In addition, 105 million rubles will be spent on the construction and renovation of outdoor toilets in the Northern Capital.
