The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported that police officers detained a drug dealer who used a car-sharing vehicle to deliver drugs to hiding places. The 27-year-old woman driving a car-sharing Kia Rio was detained on the night of September 9 near house No. 59 on Lesnoy Prospekt.
The police officers decided to search the car after they noticed that the woman was nervous. As a result, they found a jacket in the back seat with rolling cigarettes in the pockets, as well as 12 packages wrapped in duct tape. The detainee did not deny her guilt and immediately admitted that they contained marijuana.
After she was taken to the police station, a search was conducted at the girl's apartment, and a drug dealer's "kit" was found in the form of packages of the same drug ready for sale, as well as electronic scales and material for packaging the goods.
In Mordovia, detained drug dealers face life imprisonment.
In Kemerovo Oblast, a woman spent money stolen from a pensioner on drugs.
