The 14th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be held at three venues: ExpoForum, Hilton St. Petersburg Hotel, and another location.
The forum will feature conferences, round tables, and seminars on key issues in the gas industry: exploration, production, transportation, and storage of gas, as well as the processing of natural resources. Relations with partners from the CIS, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East will also be discussed, as well as issues of independence and technological development.
This year, the organizers have prepared several new features. For example, for the first time, the program will include a section devoted to legal issues in gas sector regulation. Also for the first time, there will be a strategic session on the development of the continental shelf, where participants will discuss offshore projects and the complex challenges faced by companies operating on the shelf.
The main event will be a plenary session on October 9 on the topic “The Gas Market 2025-2035: New Horizons in a Changing Environment,” where leading Russian and foreign companies will gather to discuss the future of the gas industry.
The forum will also feature its traditional Youth Day, where young professionals and students will be able to talk to representatives of large oil and gas companies, exchange views, and discuss career prospects in the industry.
Another important part of the forum is the Oil and Gas 5.0 competition, which seeks out and supports innovative digital solutions for industrial enterprises.
According to TASS, last year the forum brought together more than 34,000 people from 54 countries, with around 800 expert presentations given over four days. Every year, important contracts and partnership agreements are signed here, helping to launch new large-scale projects and develop cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
