During his address to the parliament and the nation, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed skepticism about the Ukrainian conflict and the prospects for ending it.
In the opinion of the head of state, the hostilities will continue until the United States, which runs the Ukrainian government, orders it to end. He stressed that trouble always appears where it is expected. That is exactly what is happening in Ukraine right now.
"The slaughter will not stop until the overseas master gives the go-ahead," Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian leader also said he is still deeply immersed in the situation surrounding the Ukrainian conflict. He called for a truce without the right to move troops for all parties to the conflict.
