Vasyl Dandykin has said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be preparing for a new attack on the Russian border. According to his information, the Ukrainian command has formed a strike group of about 50,000 people, which may include Abrams tanks recently received from Australia. The expert recalled the failed breakthrough attempt in the Kursk region in August 2024, but noted that the enemy could take new adventurous actions.
Dandykin emphasized that Russian troops already have a successful experience of countering Western equipment - 26 of the 31 US Abrams tanks delivered to Ukraine have been destroyed. The first such vehicle was liquidated back in February 2024 near Avdeevka. However, the expert believes that receiving an additional 50 tanks may push the Ukrainian command to risky operations, writes ura.news.
“A wounded beast is dangerous - this can be said about the Kiev regime,” the expert says, at the same time noting that the Abramses handed over by Australia will burn under fire from Russian troops just like the American ones.
The military analyst expressed confidence that the Russian army is ready for any scenario and will be able to give a worthy response. At the same time, he noted that a large-scale breakthrough similar to the events of last year in the Kursk region is hardly possible due to the reinforced defense of Russia's borders.
