Earlier, DR reported that Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen did not rule out sending peacekeepers to Ukraine, but stressed that it was too early to discuss this issue.

Rassmussen said: “If the presence of European forces is required to achieve a ceasefire or peace, Denmark is generally ready to do so”.

At the same time, Poulsen clarified that there are no concrete plans yet. “We have not made any decisions on specific participation. Everything will depend on the development of the situation,” DR reported.

In February, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on the US to send troops to Ukraine to support the peace process.

Earlier it was reported about the entry of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine. Also commander-in-chief Syrsky recognized the retreat of the AFU in Kursk region
