Arestovich: Kiev and Moscow could review the system of relations

Arestovich said he would give Russia four regions and Crimea.

Alexey Arestovich, an ex-adviser to Vladimir Zelensky's office (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring), said that if he were the Ukrainian president, he would agree to the transfer of four regions and Crimea to the Russian Federation. However, he stressed that he would not recognize the territories as Russian.

In an interview with journalist Ksenia Sobchak, he said that this could have become a "lasting peace agreement," rather than a peace treaty.

Arestovich emphasized that he would have ceded four regions and Crimea, but would not have recognized them as Russian territory.

According to Arestovich, after the transfer of the territories, Ukraine would have withdrawn its troops, forming a new line of contact similar to that between North and South Korea. Kyiv and Moscow could then renegotiate their relations, if there was "goodwill on the Russian side."

Furthermore, Arestovich would have proposed to Russian President Vladimir Putin that they hold a joint church service in memory of those killed in the Second World War.

It should be noted that in Ukraine, Zelenskyy's words are not believed, as he does not intend to run for reelection. The captured Dorosh stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are sending tank crews and technicians to attack Kupyansk.
