Vladimir Medinsky, who is an aide to the Russian president and heads the delegation to the talks with Ukraine, has said that the Russian side is satisfied with the outcome of the meeting.
He said this to journalists after the end of the second round of the negotiation process in Istanbul. He also spoke about what was contained in the second part of the memorandum that was handed over to representatives of the Kiev regime.
In addition, it became known what provisions were introduced in the Russian document. Among other things, the memorandum implies the abolition of all anti-Russian sanctions, as well as the consolidation of Ukraine's neutral status.
The parties also reached an agreement on a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war. At the same time, Russia suggested that the Kiev regime stop hostilities on certain parts of the frontline for 2-3 days.
