Moscow hospitals have discharged 177 people seen after botulism infection

In Moscow, almost 200 people have been successfully treated for botulism

The patients required inpatient treatment conditions due to poisoning from summer salads that were contaminated with the causative bacterium Clostridium botulinum.

In mid-June, an outbreak of botulism attacked Moscow, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod Region. Residents of the above cities were massively poisoned by "Lobio" salad and tuna, bean and apple salad. All dishes were ordered in "Local Kitchen" and "Gastroport".

Severe symptoms of the illness forced many to seek medical attention, followed by the planned hospitalization of patients. Among them were celebrities.

At the moment, the management of Moscow hospitals reported that almost 200 people have already successfully defeated the disease and are ready to return to a standard way of life:

"At present, 177 people have been discharged from Moscow hospitals after undergoing a course of treatment."

It is known that a total of 300 people were treated, one patient died.
