In the first four months of 2025, Moscow enterprises specializing in paper products showed an increase in production volumes.

More than 700 enterprises located in Moscow specialize in the production of paper and cardboard products, including packaging, books and other products demanded in various sectors of the economy. Thanks to the support of the city authorities, these companies are steadily increasing their production capacity, shipping volumes and product range.

According to the DIPP press service, between January and April 2025, the growth of paper production amounted to 10% year-on-year, and the volume of shipped products increased by 2.2%, exceeding 17 billion rubles.

For example, the company "Lamp" annually produces over 600 million units of packaging products. Its range includes cardboard and flexible packaging, laminated cardboard and disposable ware. In 2025, the enterprise was granted the status of an industrial complex, which allowed it to take advantage of tax benefits provided by the legislation of Moscow. The company now pays 50% of the assessed amount of property tax, 20% of land tax, and the rent rate for the land is 0.3% of its cadastral value.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Lumbumiz", Sergei Bovin, noted that the granted benefits stimulate the development and modernization of production, create new jobs and increase the competitiveness of products. The obtained status, he said, is not only a recognition of achievements, but also a serious responsibility, and the company will continue to actively participate in the development of the economy of Moscow.
