Employees of the Moscow emergency rescue service come to the aid of drivers round the clock

Over 300 visits to Moscow highways have been made by road rescuers since the beginning of the year

The service is on duty 24/7, each shift consists of 24 rescuers and six dispatchers. Coordination of outings is carried out jointly with the Crisis Management Center of the Emergency Situations Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Moscow and the central fire communication point of the administrative districts.

Since January of the current year, employees of the emergency rescue service of the State Budgetary Institution “Automobile Roads” have made 309 trips to provide emergency assistance to road users in Moscow, who got into an emergency situation.

In the city there are six points of the emergency rescue service, located near metro stations: “Khovrino”, “Krasnogvardeyskaya”, “Shchelkovskaya”, “Yasenevo”, “Kuntsevo” and “Strogino”.

The main task in the work of rescuers is not only to eliminate the consequences of traffic accidents, but also to ensure the safety of citizens, as well as to provide first aid to victims on the Moscow Ring Road and adjacent highways.

The service uses specialized vehicles complete with hydraulic and pneumatic rescue equipment, power supply systems and fire-fighting equipment. In addition, each vehicle is equipped with everything necessary to provide medical assistance.

The emergency rescue formation has been working on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution “Automobile Roads” since 2015. Currently, its staff includes about 200 people, including rescuers, drivers and dispatchers, according to the press service of the Moscow municipal economy complex.
