Artificial intelligence has taken over the role of a dispatcher in Mosgortrans

The work of Mosgortrans is improved by artificial intelligence

All 25 Mosgortrans sites servicing buses and electric buses now have a system of automatic allocation of drivers to routes based on artificial intelligence algorithms. This innovation has had a positive impact on the working conditions of more than 13,000 people driving vehicles in the capital.

The new system adjusts drivers' work schedules, taking into account the necessary time for work and rest, and also helps in selecting the right vehicle for a particular route based on passenger traffic. In addition, it provides equal opportunities for all traffic participants in the distribution of routes and shifts, while halving the load on the staff involved in planning the release of vehicles on the line. As Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, noted, the introduction of digital technologies in the transportation sector is one of the most important factors of progress.

Moscow continues to improve working conditions for drivers by introducing modern digital solutions at operational sites in order to improve the efficiency of urban transport, as well as the comfort and safety of passenger transportation.

At present, Mosgortrans employs about 25 thousand people, including more than 13 thousand drivers servicing more than 700 routes. The company's fleet includes more than seven thousand modern vehicles. About three million passengers use the services of comfortable public transport every day, the press service of the capital mayor's office reports.

Service “On the way”: Moscow improves the quality of passenger service.

Moscow will receive 100 new streetcars “Lioness-Moscow”.
