The mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin informed about 1,5 times increase in production of medicines and medical products.
According to the mayor, in the first quarter of 2023 companies produced 43,7% more products than last year.
It is worth mentioning that Moscow companies produce medicines for oncological and cardiovascular diseases, nervous system disorders, diabetes, antibiotics and vaccines.
Today in Moscow there are more than 200 companies that produce medicines and medical equipment.
It should be noted that on the territory of special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow" there is the production of drugs under two offset contracts concluded in 2023.
One of the manufacturers will invest at least 3.8 billion rubles in the production and produce 14 international nonproprietary names of drugs.
In turn, Moscow will buy back these drugs for the treatment of citizens.
