Forbes reports that the mayor's office of Moscow is planning to introduce a hard one-week lockdown from October 30 to November 7 with the possible restriction of access to restaurants, cafes, stores, beauty salons, cinemas and clinics. At the same time, QR-codes certifying vaccination will not be valid.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova has suggested to introduce a short-term lockdown from October 30 to November 7. Restrictive measures are necessary because of the negative forecast of the situation with the spread of a new coronavirus infection and the growth of COVID-19 disease.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin supported Golikova's initiative.
