Moscow authorities plan to implement over 70 integrated territorial development projects (ITD) at 49 sites in Moscow formerly occupied by industrial enterprises. This will create new modern urban zones and approximately 255,500 jobs.
On the former industrial zones, which total over 981 hectares and are subject to redevelopment, 22.3 million square meters of real estate will be constructed. Qualitatively new urban spaces, including residential complexes and the necessary infrastructure, will emerge in various districts of the capital.
Investments in the transformation of the 49 former industrial zones are estimated at 7.42 trillion rubles, with an expected annual economic impact of 530.2 billion rubles for the Moscow budget.
The former industrial zones slated for renovation are located in 10 administrative districts of Moscow. The largest concentration of KRT projects – 14 out of 72 – is in the southeast of the city, where they are being implemented on sites within seven industrial zones: "Serp i Molot," Karacharovo, "Yuzhny Port," Kuryanovo, Vykhino, Graivoronovo, and Volgogradsky Prospekt, according to the press service of the Moscow Mayor and Government.
Ten sports complexes will be built in Moscow under the integrated territorial development program.
