According to Sobyanin, the new overpass connecting Kostromskaya Street and Yurlovsky Proezd is part of a large-scale project to improve the transport infrastructure of the north-east of Moscow, which also includes the construction of new interchanges and a convenient underground crosswalk. The total length of the constructed and reconstructed roads within the project will be 3.3 kilometers.
Maxim Krylov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EKS Group of Companies, said that 250 people and more than 30 units of equipment are involved in the construction site, the work is carried out in round-the-clock mode.
