From July 8, the air temperature in the capital region will begin to consistently exceed +30 degrees Celsius. On some days thermometer columns may rise to +34...+39 °C. Ilyin specified that such indicators are not a record for July, but the continuing heat may have a significant impact on the well-being of the population and the work of urban systems.

According to the specialist, there is a probability that the high temperature will remain after July 18. At the same time, short periods of cooling to +20...+25 °C are possible.

At the same time, the expert did not rule out in a comment for the online edition of “Podmoskovye Segodnya” that the heat will last until the end of the month.

Earlier, virtual tours of the Moscow zoo were transferred to round-the-clock mode. In addition, mycologist Dyakov told about the danger of mushrooms collected on the dacha plot.
