Moscow Mayor's Incentive Grants have been established in the capital for supplementary education institutions specializing in the development of culture and the arts. Art schools that have achieved outstanding results in implementing artistic education programs and the aesthetic development of the younger generation will be eligible to apply.
The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the academic year. Winners will be selected in four categories: children's art schools, art schools, music schools, and departments at colleges and universities. The grant amount will depend on the institution's position in the ranking, which is based on an assessment of its performance.
A total of 26 grants are planned for the city. The total funding will amount to 340 million rubles annually. Of these, four grants of 25 million rubles each will be awarded to the top-ranked institutions, four more of 20 million rubles each will be awarded to runners-up, and the same amount of 15 million rubles each will be awarded to the bronze medalists.
