Moscow has provided approximately 267,000 square meters of real estate to municipal organizations to support various sports. The availability of modern sports infrastructure contributes to the development of both amateur and professional sports. Since 2020, the Moscow authorities have transferred 42 new sports facilities to the management of municipal organizations. Their construction was carried out using funds from the city's targeted investment program, as well as through private investment, notes Vladimir Efimov, Moscow's deputy mayor for urban development.

The completed facilities are distributed among institutions in 11 administrative districts of the city. Having received the rights to operate these facilities, the organizations will be able to use them effectively for training and competitions at various levels.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has transferred four new buildings located in the northern, northeastern, and eastern districts of the capital, as well as in Zelenograd, to the management of sports institutions. Their total area exceeds 25,700 square meters. The largest amount of space, more than 10,000 square meters, was given to Moscow State University of Sport and Tourism. In the Golovinsky district, the university was provided with two renovated buildings. The first three floors of the five-story building were completely redesigned, according to the press service of the Moscow City Hall.

Modern sports facilities that operate year-round will appear in Moscow.
