A criminal case opened against singer Larisa Dolina for fraud has been filed with the Balashikha City Court in the Moscow Region.

The case concerns a scam involving the People's Artist of Russia's apartment.

Four people are accused in the case: Artur Kamenetsky, Dmitry Leontyev, Andrey Osnov, and Angela Tsyrulnikova. All are currently in pretrial detention.

Investigators believe the fraudsters stole 175 million rubles from Larisa Dolina and tricked her into selling her apartment on Kseninsky Lane, which was valued at over 138 million rubles.

The damages incurred by the singer were estimated at 317 million rubles.

After the criminal case was opened and the fraudsters were arrested, the court awarded the singer 69 million rubles.

At the same time, Dolina filed a lawsuit to invalidate the apartment transaction and won.

Polina Lurye, the buyer, disagreed with the court's decision and appealed it. In early September, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision and dismissed Lurye's appeal.
