The agency's Telegram channel reported a grenade explosion in the city of Ovruch, Zhytomyr Oblast, noting casualties and injuries. According to RBC-Ukraine sources, five people were killed and two more were injured. It was also reported that the person who carried out the explosion was wanted. Details of the incident are currently being investigated.
The Ukrainian television channel "Public," citing Ivanna Siletska, press secretary of the Zhytomyr Oblast Police Department, reported that the grenade explosion at the Ovruch station was carried out by a Kharkiv resident who had previously attempted to illegally cross the border. A border guard, two civilians, and two servicemen were reportedly killed. The bomber died while being transported to the hospital.
According to Ukrainian police, the grenade explosion was carried out by a 23-year-old Kharkiv resident. Three women, aged 29, 58, and 82, including a border guard, died from their injuries. Twelve other injured people are currently being treated in a medical facility.
Earlier, two bodies were found in a burned-out minibus in a Moscow parking lot.
Authorities have confirmed the deaths of 12 people in the explosion in Kopeysk.
