An accident with a four-year-old child has occurred in a hotel on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
Foreign information sources report that the child died shortly after going for a swim in the pool.
At some point the boy became ill, and he tried to get out of the water on his own.
Rescuers arrived when the victim did not regain consciousness. The residents of the hotel tried to help him.
Soon the medics arrived, but the boy could not be saved, despite numerous attempts to resuscitate him.
