Basmanny Court of Moscow ruled that the Muz-TV channel was guilty of violating Article 6.21 part 2 of the Russian Administrative Code "Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors". The channel was sentenced to pay a monetary fine of 1 million rubles as a punishment.
The violation of the law occurred during the broadcast, which was held on July 4, 2021. The broadcast showed materials promoting LGBT.
On October 28, an administrative offence report was drawn up against Muz-TV. Earlier it was reported that the TV channel could face a fine of up to one million rubles or a suspension of their work for up to 90 days.
In that broadcast, singer Philip Kirkorov appeared on the carpet with rapper Dava. The performers were accompanied by half-naked men.
