"The roof was torn off one house, it damaged a gas pipeline (five houses were disconnected) and power line poles (five houses were disconnected). Restoration work is underway," Doinikova told TASS.
Mina Akhverdieva, a spokeswoman for regional head Vitaly Khotsenko, told TASS that the governor had taken control of the situation in the village of Petrovka. She noted that emergency crews have already started to eliminate the consequences of the hurricane.
