Former Kazakh minister convicted of murdering his wife disappeared from the colony

This past May, a jury sentenced Kazakhstan's former Minister of National Economy to 24 years in prison. One of the important pieces of evidence at the trial were video recordings made by Bishimbayev himself on his phone. The minister did not notice that he had left these recordings on his device.

Former Kazakh minister Kuandyk Bishimbayev, convicted for the murder of his wife Saltanat Nukenova, disappeared from the place where he was serving his sentence.

Bishimbayev was to spend 24 years in the colony located in the village of Arshaly. Information about his disappearance was confirmed by his lawyer, writes Airan.

At the same time, the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan did not disclose information about his whereabouts after the verdict.

Earlier in the Network became known about the last words of Bishimbayev before the verdict. Before that it was reported that the pedophile who received 6.5 years of colony was released after the contract with the Ministry of Defense.
