This money was allocated to JSC Stankoprom to organize the production of machine tools. One of the defendants received a longer sentence due to a previous conviction for fraud within the framework of a state defense order.

The case was considered in absentia since September last year, and it was initiated by the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The charges were based on events related to the implementation of a project to establish serial production of machine tool products in 2016.

During the trial it was found that the defendants, without the consent of representatives of the state corporation, concluded a loan agreement with the federal fund for technological development on behalf of Intermash LLC controlled by them.

The defense of the convicts intends to appeal the court decision. Vladimir Petrov, who founded the company, went to Armenia and could not return due to illness, after which he was declared wanted.

Recall, earlier it became known that Lipetsk brewer received gold for the best beer in Russia and the Eurasian Union. Meanwhile, a Russian businessman was sued because of the name of a tourist destination.
