A car equipped with a gas cylinder exploded on Rostov Highway in Krasnodar. According to witnesses, the gas cylinder exploded in a moving Toyota Camry, causing the vehicle to instantly catch fire.
"Car 95 from the region. The gas cylinder exploded while it was moving," an eyewitness reported.
Nearby drivers attempted to contain the fire with vehicle fire extinguishers, but the intensity of the flames prevented them from extinguishing it.
Shortly after the occupants were evacuated from the car, the fuel tank detonated, causing a powerful second explosion. Fortunately, neither the driver nor the passengers were seriously injured—everyone managed to quickly escape the burning vehicle, according to 360.ru.
Video footage taken by eyewitnesses shows the fire completely engulfing the car, and the subsequent explosion scattering debris across the roadway.
