In 2024, Russia imported 60.7 million chicken eggs, the bulk of which were imported from Turkey. This was reported in Rosselkhoznadzor.
Thus, the volume of products imported from Turkey was 6.7 million. 4.5 million eggs were imported from Azerbaijan, 54 million eggs from Belarus.
The ministry stressed that the supply of chicken eggs was carried out only from these three countries.
At the same time, the ministry told about the growth of imports.
"According to information systems Russia increased imports of food eggs in two times compared to the same period of 2023", - reported the press service of the Department.
Earlier wrote that Russia appealed to Kazakhstan with a request to increase the supply of chicken eggs.
