According to his presentation, by 2030 the launch capacity of Russian cosmodromes should reach 66 launches per year. This is a significant increase from the 2024 figure of 46 launches per year. In the longer term, by 2036, it is planned to reach the figure of 113 space launches annually. The realization of these plans will allow Russia to significantly strengthen its position in the global market. The goal is to increase Russia's share of the global launch market from the current 6.5% to 28% by 2036.
Amid news of hundred-billion-dollar investments in former Danone plants and changing strategies of Western oil giants, Russia is also voicing ambitious plans to develop the space industry.
